A file key is released when a recipient opens a transfer. The count shows how many of their permitted downloads they have used.

Removing someone revokes their invitation and keeps the record — they cannot sign in again. If they are already signed in, that session keeps working for up to 24 hours, and files already shared with them stay shared. To erase their identity entirely, remove them first, then use Erase on their row.
Invited as is the role that was requested when this person was added. The role the system grants is fixed the first time an address is registered and is not changed by a later invitation, so for somebody who was already registered the two can differ. This page cannot read the granted role.
